As I reflect on this last year, I am grateful for many things—my wonderful family, our passionate and dedicated team, and you! This was an incredibly hard year for so many people. We didn't know what to expect as fear and uncertainty gripped the world in the face of COVID-19. However, in the midst of working from home, travel bans, homeschooling, and separation from loved ones, customers like you turned to Mixbook. And when we asked why, your answers inspired us:
"Mixbook was the perfect panacea for the isolation we are all feeling during this COVID-19 time. It made me smile to revisit the good times."
"I made a Mixbook for my 92-year-old dad, who lives in an Assisted Living facility that has been on COVID lockdown. When he received it, dad was happier than I've seen him in at least a year, and everyone at his assisted living wing is just raving about it!"
Mixbook's mission is to empower people to be creative and connect deeply with the ones they love. And never has that been more relevant than in 2020—when many of us were disconnected from the friends and family we love and reminded of the things that matter most in life. You inspired us with the way you took the time and effort to express your care to the ones you love, and to take care of yourself in the process. You showed others that they matter. Despite all the hardships we endured, you made 2020 worth remembering.
Thank you for allowing us to play a small part in helping you tell your stories and express your care. As we enter a new year in 2021, here is my hope for all of you:
May you be richly blessed with
Friends and family you love, and who love you in return
Broken relationships restored
Dashed dreams replaced with new hope
Strength where there was weakness
Creativity unblocked and expressed
Forgiveness where there was bitterness
Growth and flourishing in every area of your life
On to a better and brighter year in 2021!
